Are you, as an Administrative Claims Handler, going to strengthen our container department?
Seatrade Groningen is one of the oldest and largest shipping companies in the Netherlands with almost 75 years of experience. Initially started with the transport of general cargo, now specialized in the transportation of deep-frozen fish, meat, and refrigerated cargo such as kiwis, avocados, and bananas with ships sailing worldwide.
The management of the ships takes place from the office in Groningen, while the commercial activities are handled from the office in Breda. Much of the cargo is transported by Seatrade in reefer containers that are maintained and repaired at various depots around the world. Due to the expansion of activities, there are two vacancies for Administrative Claims Handler (part-time/full-time) in the Container Maintenance & Repair department in Groningen.
As an Administrative Claims Handler, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the repair depots, of which the majority are located in Latin America. Due to the various international contacts, it is important that you have a good command of English and basic knowledge of Spanish is considered advantageous.

Specific knowledge and experience for this position are not required as we provide training internally. We are looking for an initiative-taker, minimum MBO level, who can work independently and is eager to learn.
